Understanding the molecular gas content of galaxies is one of the most important areas of galaxy evolution. In order to study the molecular gas content of low mass nearby galaxies, we undertook `ALLSMOG', a large legacy survey at the 12m APEXб telescope. б
`ALLSMOG' is an APEX large legacy programme designed to observe molecular gas (via the 12CO(2-1) emission line) in a large sample of local, low mass (<1010 Msun) galaxies. ALLSMOG was awarded 300 hours of observing time, to be taken over 4 semesters.б
Status
As of Summer 2014, ALLSMOG isб approaching 50% completeness (114/300 hours). We have observed a total of 42 sources, with 25 detections.б
