I am currently working on a PhD in astrophysics at the University of Cambridge Cavendish Laboratory. My primary research involves active galaxies and how the relativistic jets seen in Fanaroff-Riley galaxies can affect the host galaxy's evolution.
Throughout the PhD I have also helped teach the first-year undergraduate physics lab (for total of three years), and supervised nine students in a third-year astrophysical fluid dynamics course (ongoing).
Aside from astrophysics, I am deeply interested in rock climbing, hiking, cycling, sailing, and traveling. Anything out in the fresh air!
