Regular Local Meetings
Galaxy evolution group meetings
Tuesday 2.00 -4.00, weekly throughout the year, room 710.
These occur (almost every) week throughout the year and are a main
focus of the galaxy evolution group.  Room 710 can be found in the
Link building between the Rutherford and the Bragg.  Each week various
topics, both scientific and administrative are discussed.  You should
make every effort to attend.  Occassionally the focus of the meetings
will be specifically aimed at a sub-group of people and in this case the
weekly email reminder will make this clear.
AP Seminar
Tuesday 4.30 - 6.00 during term.  These are also very important and
should be attended.  Final year students contribute to this series.
AP short talks
Wednesday 11.00 - 11.30, Ryle Seminar Room, during term.  These are
extremely useful and tell you what everyone else in the group is working
on.  Students will be expcted to contribute to this series when requested.
Cambridge Astrophysical Coloquia
Thursday 4.30 - 6.00 during term, Hoyle Building at the IoA.
Often extremely relevant seminars.  You should attend if the seminar
in any way relates to your work.
External Conferences
The following conferences are of particular interest to the group.
Where known those people from the group attending, or planning to go are
noted.
