Here are some photos from several observing trips to the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope (GMRT) (of the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR)).
A excursion from the main GMRT site is a short walk (a few km), to a temple at the top of the nearby hill, Narayangad (see Google satellite map).
