European Union FP6 ALMA Enhancement
Introduction
Most of the work we are doing at the moment at the University of Cambridge on Water Vapour Radiometry for ALMA is funded and supported by the European Union Framework Programme 6 ALMA Enhancement project.
This ALMA enhancement project consists of the following parts:
- Design, manufacture and integration of six Band 5 receivers for ALMA
- Design and implementation of on-the-fly interferometry data reduction for ALMA
- Design and implementation of advanced WVR phase correction techniques for ALMA -- this is the work being done here in Cambridge
