wvrgcal
is a command line front end to LibAIR (see below) and is
the user-facing application for calculating atmospheric phase
correction from WVR data. wvrgcal
outputs a CASA gain calibration
table which can then be applied to the observed data in the usual way.
There is a public email list which is the best place to ask questions about this program. Please note the list is archived so:
Please note these binary packages are offered on an experimental basis, under the GPL license, with no warranty of any kind. By their nature, binary packages work only on a restricted class of systems similar to the ones they were built on. For some notes on installation see this message.
The binary packages are now built in both 32 and 64bit versions, but for the present time still for Linux only. The 32bit version have the string “x86” at the end of their name and the 64bit version has the string “x64” string at the end of their name. These strings unfortunately look quite similar to the eye, so be careful! (These are the standard platform names so that is why they are used)

The source code for the wvrgcal program is included in the packages below.
LibAIR is the atmospheric inference library that is the main core of the algorithms for phase correction of ALMA data using water vapour radiometers that we are developing in Cambridge. You can download, use and reuse the libAIR code under the LGPL license.
The library and algorithms are documented in the series of memo’s which are being posted at page on inference of coefficients for use in phase correction.
Please consult Building libAIR for instructions on how to build the library. These are the available versions:
