Bulk motion of galaxies and Hubble law
anisotropy on distances up to 100 Mpc

The Flat Galaxy Catalogue and its revised version were made in
order to study the bulk galaxies motion on distances up to 200
Mpc. Using observational data on radial velocities and HI line
widths for 919 galaxies from this catalogue we obtained values
and errors for three groups of parameters given below. The rst
group includes parameters of a generalised Tully-Fisher relation-
ship, which gives the distances to galaxies independently of their
z factor. The second group describes the characteristic values of
the bulk motion. The velocity of this motion in CMB frame ap-
peared to be 31075 km/s towards the direction l = 310 o ; b = 4 o .
The third group includes 5 components of the symmetric spurless
matrix B ik , which caused a contribution in the galaxies radial
velocity v described by v = rB ik n i nk , where r and ~n are
the distance to the galaxy and the unit vector towards it. This
term could be considered either as an anisotropy in the Hubble
expansion or as a nonuniformity of the bulk motion eld. Its sta-
tistical signi cance is greater than 99%. The fastest expansion is
pointed towards the direction l = 144 o ; b = 69 o and the opposite
one. Its velocity exceeds the average over the whole sky value by
(5:0 1:8) %. The slowest one is associated with the direction
l = 220 o ; b = 2 o and the opposite one. A de cit of velocity is
(5:0 1:7) %.
