H0 determinations via
the S-Z and X-ray route

We present current values for H0 , determined via Sunyaev-
Zel'dovich and X-ray route from three clusters; Abell 611, Abell
990 and 0016+16. In this method, various simplifying assump-
tions are made. We test the validity of some of these (e.g. isother-
mality and sphericality) by running simulated S-Z and X-ray ob-
servations through the same analysis. We nd that although the
spread of the values increases, there is no signicant systematic
bias in the S-Z + X-ray route.
