Description: The Yale-Columbia was the most damaged of the telescopes. During September 2004 the remains were removed from the dome. The objective lens and a section of the telescope tube were kept for eventual display, and the setting circles and section of polar axis will be incorporated into a memorial sculpture. Demolition and cleanup were carried out by HABKA.
