I am honoured to have been jointly awarded with Adam Riess and Saul Perlmutter, the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics in recognition of the work of the High-Z Team's Discovery that the Universe is accelerating in its expansion. This is the culmination of more than two decades of work by the 20 members of the High-Z Team, and our colleagues, The Supernova Cosmology Project
