THE NEW ETX OBSERVER

The Legacy Continues

For 20 years, Meade's ETX series telescopes have provided novice astronomers quality, value and performance, with each new model brining enhancements and improvements. The all-new ETX Observer model continues that legacy.

New Features

The ETX Observer models come in either the 80mm achromat refractor telescope design or a 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope design. These telescopes now feature a removable optical tube, as well as the AudioStar handbox controller. The removable optical tube brings versatility and customization to the ETX. The AudioStar handbox controller gives you easy access to the ETX's 30,000 object database, and includes a built-in speaker that plays educational content about the celestial objects you view!

The Ultimate Portable Computerized Telescope

Whether you are hiking, camping, or in the backyard, both the 80mm and 90mm models are made for observing anytime, anywhere. The ETX80 fits in the included backpack making it great for people on the go, while the ETX90 comes with a hard carry case and a tripod bag to protect it when transporting. With GoTo and tracking capabilities, these are the ultimate portable computerized telescopes.
