Comet 1999 S4 LINEAR -- This comet may become a naked-eye visible comet in July of 2000. The comet was discovered by the Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) project on 1999 September 27. Click here for more information from the Minor Planet Center.
