Abstract

Classical results of Tate and Honda give us an explicit description for the set of isogeny classes of abelian varieties over a finite field. Namely, an isogeny class is uniquely determined by a so called Weil polynomial of any variety from this class. It looks natural to consider classification problems concerning abelian varieties inside a given isogeny class. The talk is devoted to the classification of groups of points in terms of Weil polynomials.
