On the workshop, we are going to cover two years of the development of combinatorial methods in geometry and mathematical physics. Besides topics that are traditionally present in the workshop agenda, notably, cluster algebras and topological recursion, we are going to organize discussion on new trends in the field including applications to cohomological field theories and the related combinatorial problems related to enumerations of maps loosely called Hurwitz numbers. We also address the rapidly developing applications to quantum Riemann surfaces and to knot theory and knot invariants. We are also going to cover the development of topological recursion as regarding Gromov--Witten invariants, Hitchin systems, and other non-Abelian-flavored applications.

We hope to bring together specialists actively working in the field for exchanging ideas in the inspiring scientific environment of early summer in Moscow. Traditionally, the workshop takes place at three locations: the Independent University of Moscow (3 days), the Steklov Mathematical Institute (2 days) and the Higher School of Economics (1 day). The Independent University is situated in one of picturesque areas of old downtown Moscow whereas the Steklov Mathematical Institute and the Higher School of Economics are situated near Leninsky Prospect --- one of the main Moscow streets --- and in the area where most of Academic Institutions and the Moscow State University are located.

Key speakers include: J. E. Andersen (QGM, Aarhus), Yu. Berest (Cornell Univ.), G. Borot (MPIM), B. Dubrovin (SISSA), B. Eynard (Saclay), V. Fock (Strasbourg), S. Fomin (Univ. of Michigan), Rei Inoue (Chiba Univ.), R. Kaufmann (Purdue Univ., USA), R. Kashaev (Geneve), M. Kazarian (Steklov and HSE) D. Korotkin (Concordia Univ.) Melissa Liu (Columbia Univ.), A. Marshakov (Moscow), M. Mazzocco (Loughborough Univ.), A. Mironov (ITEP and LPI, Moscow), T. Nakanishi (Nagoya Univ.), P. Norbury (Melbourne), R. Penner (Caltech), N. Reshetikhin (Berkeley Univ.), V. Roubtsov (Angers), M. Shapiro (Michigan State Univ.), P. Sulkowski (Warsaw Univ. and Caltech), A. Zabrodin (Moscow), Don Zagier (MPIM and College de France), P. Zograf (St.Pb.), D. Zvonkine (ParisVI)

Organizing Committee: Leonid Chekhov (Steklov and Poncelet), Sergei Lando (HSE), Igor Krichever (HSE and Columbia Univ.), Armen Sergeev (Steklov), Sergei Nechaev (Poncelet), and Liza Kryukova (Poncelet).

We expect short series (2-3) of 1-hour-long lectures, 1-hour long research talks, and shorter 30-minutes talks of younger researchers.

The registration fee is 150 USD for foreign participants (paid upon arrival by those who can cover it from their grants or institutions) and 3000 roubles for participants from the FSU (also paid for those who can cover it from their grants). This covers also the welcome party and the conference dinner.

For a limited number of participants, the organizers will provide reasonable accommodation for free/budget price. With the support of the Higher School of Economics, we hope to be able to provide accommodation for the invited speakers and younger researchers in the Guesthouse of the HSE.

All nationals except for some countries of the FSU need visas to enter Russia. Because it takes time to arrange invitation and to proceed the visa application in a Russian consulate, we strongly recommend to ask for your visa at least six weeks prior to the workshop date.

Due to limited funding, the organizers cannot cover travel expenses of the participants when traveling outside Russia. When necessary, we organize transportation from and to Moscow airports. Depending on the success of PARSECO grant application, the organizers might be able to cover travel expenses of French nationals and researchers holding permanent positions in French scientific institutions.

For the registration, please, contact the Organizing Committee at the earliest opportunity. It will be extremely helpful if you include a tentative title of your talk.
