NUMBERS, AND CLUSTER ALGEBRAS June 2-7, 2008,

The scope of the
conference is the rapidly developing branch of mathematics, the combinatorial
description of moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces
and related topics, that flourished through several last years including, but
not limited to, the combinatorics and geometry of
Hurwitz numbers and cluster algebras together with their generalizations to
algebras of higher rank, to constructing cycles on moduli
spaces and investigating the related algebraic structures including those of
the Schlesinger system type. The workshop site --- the
Independent University of Moscow --- is situated in one of picturesque areas
of downtown Moscow and the Steklov Mathematical
Institute is within the walking distance from the campus of Moscow State
University with its magnificent Main Building and vast green recreational
areas. Organizing Committee:
Igor Artamkin, Leonid Chekhov, Liza Kryukova,
Sergei Lando, Armen
Sergeev We expect short series
(2-3) of 1-hour-long lectures and 1-hour long research talks. Among those who already
agreed to give a talk/series of lectures are J.Andersen
( The registration fee is
150 USD for foreign participants (paid upon arrival by those who can cover it
from their grants or institutions) and 3000 roubles
for participants from the FSU. For a limited number of
foreign participants, the organizers provide reasonable accommodation for
free/budget price. All nationals except for
some countries of the FSU need visas to enter Due to limited funding,
the organizers cannot cover travel expenses of the participants when
traveling outside For the registration,
please, contact the Organizing Committee before May, 10th on the
first opportunity. It will be extremely helpful if you include a tentative
title of your talk. Contact emails of the
organizing committee chekhov@mi.ras.ru (Leonid Chekhov) lando@mccme.ru (Sergei Lando) Go to the Laboratoire
