ASTELE™ 180 EL

The ASTELE™ 180 is an excellent telescope for the moon, planets and deep sky objects.
Its optical design is Maksutov Cassegrain. 
Its diffraction limited optics are multi-coated and make it a great instrument for doing astrophotography, delivering pin-point images over a 35mm format.
If you're looking for a telescope with large aperture and superb optics, the ASTELE™ 180 is that and more. Ideal for the professional or advanced amateur.
The ASTELE™ 180 uses U.S. standard 1.25" O.D.-sized eyepieces (hundreds are available).

The ASTELE™ 180 is available in three models

  • The ASTELE™ 180 OTA (Optical Tube Assembly).
  • The ASTELE™ 180 G (German Equatorial Mount)
  • The ASTELE™ 180 EL (with motorized base, shown)

The ASTELE™ 180 G (German Equatorial Mount) comes with slow-motion controls, setting circles, polar axis finder, accessory tray and fully adjustable aluminum tripod.

Photo adapter for standard cameras and lens shade are available separately.
