ASTELE™ 95 G

The ASTELE™ 95 is a versatile astronomical telescope, spotting scope and telephoto lens that can be used for astronomy, target spotting, bird watching, nature studies etc.

The optical design of the ASTELE™ 95 is Maksutov Cassegrain. This design uses a meniscus optical correcting lens which produces the highest possible quality image with it’s primary mirror, and which seals the telescope from dust, dirt, etc., contaminating the optics of this instrument. Plus, it makes this professional quality instrument more rugged and also keeps the optical elements from coming out of alignment.
Another important feature is that this instrument uses a mirror to magnify the image not a lens.
Whether you are looking at a black-capped chickadee or the planet Saturn, the ASTELE™ 95 will provide you with razor-sharp images. The ASTELE™ 95 uses U.S. standard 1.25" O.D.-sized eyepieces (hundreds are available).
If you're looking for a telescope that's easy to setup, very portable, fun to use and has superb optics, look no further. Ideal for the beginner or the advanced amateur.

The ASTELE™ 95 is available in two models:

The ASTELE™ 95 G (German Equatorial Mount, shown)

The ASTELE™ 95 G (German Equatorial Mount) comes with slow-motion controls, setting circles, polar axis finder, accessory tray and fully adjustable aluminum tripod.

Photo adapter for standard cameras, and lens shade are available separately.
