Mission profile

The launch vehicle is steam ejected from its Transport and Launch Canister (TLC) by means of hot gases of black powder gas generator. Dnepr liftoff sequence is shown below.

1. Activation of black powder gas generator
2. LV exit from silo
3. Separation of black powder gas generator
4. Jettisoning of black powder gas generator
5. Ignition of 1st stage motor
6. Release of sealing rings
7. LV flight
