Results of Dnepr LV Launch Failure Investigation
The Dnepr launch vehicle (the SS-18 missile conversion variant) with a group of spacecraft aboard was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 26, 2006 at 22 hours 43 minutes, Moscow Standard Time. The launch ended up in a failure during the 73,9th second of flight.

On Dnepr LV Next Launch
On July 12th 2006 at 18:54 Moscow time, the US manufactured Genesis-1 spacecraft was successfully launched into the cusomter’s predetermined orbit, aboard a Dnepr rocket from Yasny launch base. The launch was prepared and performed by specialists of RF Ministry of Defense and industrial enterprises of Russia and Ukraine under the leadership of International Space Company Kosmotras.

ISC Kosmotras Awarded ISO Certificates
On March 13, 2006, ISC Kosmotras was officially awarded ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management Systems) certificates. The ceremony took place at ISC Kosmotras Moscow office.

During 1992-2003 timeframe, a team of Russian and Ukrainian companies together with the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) were involved in developing a commercial space launch system based on the technology of the SS-18 ICBMs being withdrawn from service.
