Signature of PAZ Launch Contract

OAO Rosoboronexport and Spanish HISDESAT Servicios Estratégicos, S.A. have signed a contract for the launch of PAZ satellite in 2015. The signature took place at MAKS-2015 airshow on August 27, 2015. The satellite will be launched in a Dnepr LV dedicated mission. All technical work associated with preparation and performance of the launch will be carried out by ISC Kosmotras. The satellite is designed and built by Airbus Defense and Space and will provide a wide range of missions in the area of cartography, environmental monitoring and assessment of hydro, land and forestry resources.
