S65-63459 --- Crews aboard the U.S.S. Wasp await the arrival of astronauts Walter M. Schirra Jr. and Thomas P. Stafford following recovery operations in the western Atlantic Ocean. The Gemini VI spacecraft had splashed down within 12 miles of the U.S.S. Wasp at 10:29 a.m. EST Dec. 16, 1965, following a successful flight of 25 hours and 52 minutes.
