Weekly Bulletin on Solar and Geomagnetic Activity
Highlights on 12 - 18.11.2012,
Forecast on 19 - 26.11.2012,
Carrington Rotations 2130 (04,86.11.2012)

SUNSPOT-FORMING ACTIVITY OF THE SUN WAS REMAINED ON THE AVERAGE LEVEL.
WEEKLY, THE AVERAGE OF SUNSPOT NUMBER IN THE INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM FOR
THE PERIOD WAS MADE W=77+36/-12. ON THE VISIBLE SOLAR DISK CONSTANTLY
THERE WERE PRESENT 6-8 SMALL SUNSPOTS GROUPS BUT ON NOVEMBER 12 ONE,
AR11610 (S22L267), SHARPLY INCREASED THE AREA AND FOR ONE DAY BECAME
THE BIG.

NEXT WEEK THE LEVEL OF SUNSPOT ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE THE AVERAGE.
THE CALCULATED MOST LIKELY WEEKLY AVERAGE VALUE OF SUNSPOT NUMBER IN
THE INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM FOR THE NEXT WEEK IS EXPECTED W = 050+20/-20.

FLARE ACTIVITY WAS AT THE HIGH LEVEL ON NOVEMBER 13, THE AVERAGE LEVEL
ON NOVEMBER 12 AND 14 AND THE LOW LEVEL - 15 - 18.11. BY DATA SOHO AND
STEREO CORONOGRAPHS WAS OBSERVED BY 49 CME ONE OF WHICH WAS THE "PAR-
TIAL ГАЛО III" TYPE AND 3 - THE "PARTIAL ГАЛО II".

THE GREATER THAN 2 MeV ELECTRON FLUX AT GEOSTATIONARY ORBIT VERY HIGH
LEVEL WAS OBSERVED TO 16/0120 UT.

THE GREATER THAN 2 MeV ELECTRON FLUX AT GEOSTATIONARY ORBIT VERY HIGH
LEVEL IS EXPECTED 0N NOVEMBER 19 - 22.

GEOMAGNETIC CONDITION WAS ACTIVE AFTER ARRIVAL OF THE INTERPLANETARY
SHOCK (SI of 12.11/2316 UT) FROM FILAMENT EJECTION AT 9.11. THE SUB-
STORM (9 h.) IS REGISTERED IN EAST EARTH'S HEMISPHERE ACCORDING TO
IZMIRAN DATA. BESIDES, AT NIGHT 13.11 THE MODERATE MAGNETIC STORM (G1,
Ams=43, dur.=12 h.) ACCORDING TO IZMIRAN DATA AND (G2, Ams=52, dur.=15
h.) ACCORDING TO THE BOULDER CENTER DATA WAS OBSERVED. THIS GEOMAGNE-
TIC DISTURBANCE WAS A CONSEQUENCE OF JOINT INFLUENCE OF DISTURBANCE
FROM SOLAR FILAMENT EJECTION AT 10.11 AND PASSING BY EARTH OF THE SO-
LAR WIND HIGH-SPEED STREAM FROM THE CORONAL HOLE. IN OTHER DAYS GEO-
MAGNETIC CONDITION REMAINED QUIET AND UNSETTLED.

THE GEOMAGNETIC CONDITIONS REMAINED QUIET AND UNSETTLED.

NEXT WEEK THE GEOMAGNETIC CONDITION IS EXPECTED UNSETTLED AND QUIET,
