If necessary, the observations and corresponding O – C values belonging to some observatory can be separated from the other data. Besides, O – C satisfying some conditions imposed on their value can be separated. To use these possibilities select first O – C item in menu bar and then Separate item in drop-down menu. In Separation Dialogue box mark Separation conditions radio button and then, after marking check box, enter observatory code to separate observations made there.
To separate O – C by value, mark O – C check box and enter positive numbers limiting absolute values of O – C from above or from bottom or both and click on Run. It should be explained that the first condition leaves in file only those observations for which values both in right ascension AND in declination are less than limitative value, whereas the second condition leaves only those observations for which values of O – C in right ascension OR in declination OR both are greater than limitative value. In case both conditions are imposed the resulting file will contains only those observations which comply with superposition of conditions.
The restrictions imposed on observatory code and on O – C values are indicated in status bar.
To return to O – C table click on x button in the title bar. To return to table of observed positions click on x again.
