III.7. Output format

Three different forms are possible for representing Results of calculation of spherical coordinates:

• the form designated as EMP is similar to that used in the Ephemerides of Minor Planets, having formal precision of 0.01 minute of time in right ascension and 0.1 minute of arc in declination. Longitude, latitude, azimuth and altitude are also displayed with comparable formal precision.
  
  
• the form designated as Positions has enhanced formal precision. Coordinates are given in hours, minutes and seconds of time in R.A. or in degrees, minutes and seconds of arc in declination, longitude, latitude, azimuth, and altitude.
  
  
• the form designated as Positions + velocities is used for displaying both positions and velocities. Output format for coordinates is the same as in case b). Velocities are presented in the same units per day.

For horizontal coordinates Positions + velocities form is not provided.

For rectangular coordinates possible forms are Positions and Positions + velocities. Values of coordinates and distances come in AU and their derivatives in AU per day.
