1. Discovering and explaining an effect of enhancing the fracture toughness of metal matrix composites as a result of reinforcing the matrix with brittle fibres (1975).
2. Discovering and explaining a synergetic effect in composites with metal matrix and oxide fibres (2000).
3. Predicating a possibility of formation of non- brittle single crystalline fibres and realization of the possibility (2000).
4. Discovery a new way to organize non- brittle structures composed of brittle components.

Same fundamental technology results:

• Development of Internal crystallization method – new way to produce  single crystalline oxide fibre

• A new fabrication technology of boron/aluminium structural   elements like tubes and shells
