Affiliations

Abstract

The Abstract of about 100-200 words reports the purpose and main results of
the paper. The abstract should be accompanied by 3 to 5 keywords. The size
of a regular paper should not exceed 12 pages in the journal format. That
is approximately 4500 - 5000 words + 16 - 12 illustrations. The size of a
short communication should not exceed 2 pages.

Note: Brief information on the authors (affiliations, positions, degrees,
email addresses) should be supplied with the manuscript. Corresponding
author should be identified.

Keywords: journal, composites, nanostructures, abstract, illustrations.


Introduction

What follows is a description of the format of the files to be submitted to
journal Composites and Nanostructures.


The main text

The main text should be in Microsoft Word format.

The manuscript should be properly structured; therefore, format of the
headings of the first, second and third levels are shown here.

The SI system should be used. Temperatures should be given either in
Celsius (oC) or Kevin (K).


Illustration and Tables

All illustrations and tables should be submitted as separate files.


1 Illustrations

All illustrations are to be submitted in either JPG (preferably) or TIF
formats with the resolution no less than 300 dpi. They will be printed
within a journal column that has a size of 85 mm. Hence, all the letters
and digits on an illustration should have such a size as to be easily seen
after a corresponding reduction of the illustration.


1 Micrographs

Please show scale on a micrograph.


2 Graphs

Graphs made in various softwares should be exported to one of the format
shown above (JPG or TIF). Legends are to be given in the graphs field.
Examples of the graph formats in linear and log scales are given in Fig. 1
and Fig. 2, respectively. Dimensions of the values on the graph axis should
be written after slash, for instance "(/MPa" or "fibre length / mm".


2 Tables

Tables together with the captions should be given in separate lists.


Formulas

Formulas are to be written by using Equation Editor supplied with the
Microsoft Office. Formulas, to which there are references in the text, are
to be numbered. To give an example, let us write the Hook's law (1) and
creep law (2) as follows

References

References to published books [[i]], chapters in books and papers in
proceedings [[ii]] papers in journals [[iii]] should be numbered
sequentially in order of citation in the text according to the given
examples.


Figure captions

Figure captions should be given in a separate list as follows:

Fig. 1. An example of the plot.
Fig. 2. An example of the plot in double-logarithmic coordinates.
