The 2nd Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad will held in Vladivostok, Far East part of Russian Federation on December 4-11, 2006, just the same dates as the 1st APAO took place in 2005. It will be open two weeks later than the 11th IAO in Bombay) has been closed.
The Local Organizing Committee was kindly invite countries of the region to this Olympiad, which to be held as a regional programme in line with the International Astronomy Olympiad. The main points for the teams formation were mentioned in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd announcements, the deadlines were mentioned in the 3rd announcement.
The following teams will take part in the Olympiad:

That's a pity teams of Armenia and Singapore that planned to participate did not find such a possibility.
