The last information before the Olympiad

The 2^nd Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad will held in Vladivostok, Far East part of Russian Federation on December 4-11, 2006, just the same dates as the 1^st APAO took place in 2005. It will be open two weeks later than the 11^th IAO in Bombay) has been closed.

The Local Organizing Committee was kindly invite countries of the region to this Olympiad, which to be held as a regional programme in line with the International Astronomy Olympiad. The main points for the teams formation were mentioned in the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd announcements, the deadlines were mentioned in the 3^rd announcement.

The following teams will take part in the Olympiad:

CN		China
FE		Far East (Russia, east-asian part)
ID		Indonesia
KR		Korea
KZ		Kazakhstan
SB		Siberia (Russia, central-asian part)
TH		Thailand
UR		East Ural (Russia, west-asian part)

That's a pity teams of Armenia and Singapore that planned to participate did not find such a possibility.

According to the last news, the main points of the programme of the Olympiad will be the following:
