1. Experimental study of thermodynamic and kinetic properties of individual grain boundaries and interphase boundaries, and triple junctions at inner interfaces..
2. Experimental study of phase transitions at inner interfaces and transitions involving interfaces (wetting, prewetting, premelting phase transitions, and faceting-defaceting transitions).
3. Influence of inner interfaces on structure and properties of nanocrystalline materials, produced by different techniques.
