  9. Note: the Organizing Committee has found possible to reduce the conference fee. The current conference fee is 3000 Russian rubles for a participant and 1000 Russian rubles for an accompanying person or a young scientist.

  10. Note: School of Young Scientists is planned to be on the first day of the conference, on July 26. Top-level experts in the field will give lectures in frames of the school. The Organizing Committee of CC-2010 has pleasure to invite students, PhD students and young researchers (under the age of 35 years) to participate in the School of Young Scientists. To register for the School, please e-mail a request to Olga Levchenko (CC-2010 Conference Secretary) at cc2010@issp.ac.ru. The deadline for requests for participation is May 30, 2010.

  14. The Conference Fee should be paid at the registration desk in Chernogolovka on arrival.

  15. Accommodation has been pre-booked at the Chernogolovka Hotel. If you are going to stay in the Chernogolovka Hotel, please indicate (in Registration Form or by e-mail) the type of the room you wish: single, double or double suite. The hotel prices per room: single - 1800 RUB/day (44 EUR for February 2010), double - 2500 RUB/day (61 EUR for February 2010), double suite - 3000 RUB/day (74 EUR for February 2010).

The conference is organized jointly by Institute of Solid State Physics Russian Academy of Sciences, RAS Council on Low Temperature Physics, and RAS Council on Condensed Matter Physics, under the support of IUPAP, RFBR, and RF Ministry of Education and Science.

Main subjects:

  • thermodynamical and mechanical properties of cryocrystals and quantum crystals, crystalline and amorphous films, nanoscale systems, matrix isolation in cryocrystals;
  • charged species in cryocrystals and quantum crystals, phenomena at the surface of quantum fluids and solids;
  • optical and neutron spectroscopy of cryocrystals and impurity-helium condensates;
  • ultrafast dynamics in crystals;
  • high-pressure studies of cryocrystals and quantum crystals;
  • order-disorder phenomena;
  • technological applications and instrumentation.

Goal: bringing together top-level experts, both experimentalists and theorists, for presentation and discussion of recent research results in the field of cryocrystals and quantum crystals.

Framework: the program is supposed to be compiled of invited talks (40 minutes duration each) distributed between the main subjects listed above, oral and poster presentations. A few Public Lectures are planned to be presented at the CC-2010.

Location: Chernogolovka is a research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located 60 km from the center of Moscow, with regular public transportation to/from Moscow. A flexible social program will be arranged by the Organizing Committee.

Registration is opened now (see Registration Form at http://www.issp.ac.ru/cc2010/registration.html. Please, pay attention that the preparation of the visa can take up to 3 months).

Dates: the registration desk will be opened on July 25, Sunday evening. The conference starts on July 26, Monday. Scientific program will end on July 31, Saturday.

Deadline for abstract submission: April, 25, 2010.

Finance: the conference fee is 3000 Russian rubles for a participant and 1000 Russian rubles for an accompanying person or a young scientist. The hotel prices per room are from 1800 RUB/day (44 EUR for February 2010) - single room, to 3000 RUB/day (74 EUR for February 2010) - double suite. The Organizing Committee will seek funds to cover in part local expenses for the invited speakers and foreign participants.

The meeting is open to scientists regardless of nationality and citizenship.
