Large dark patches at the mouth of river Don and near the city of Taganrog (2) mark the river plume and coastal rainwash containing surfactants of mixed origin. The long fork-shaped outflow from Miussky Liman (1) and a dark patch near the Yeysk Spit (3) are of similar origin. Image |
