GOFC-GOLD Northern Eurasia Regional Information Network - (NERIN) and Land Cover Implementation Team offer a workshop to introduce new approaches to change detection and global efforts to develop validation strategies in the context of multi-sensor analysis.

The presentations and discussions will focus on proper use of change detection techniques, interpretation of land-cover change maps, and formulating user the needs for monitoring land-cover change. The workshop will also explore opportunities for collaboration among research teams and ongoing projects aimed at improved mapping of land-cover change across the Northern Eurasia region.
