Задачи лаборатории:

1. Разработка современных радиофизических средств и методов дистанционного зондирования.

2. Исследование характеристик морской поверхности методами микроволнового активного и пассивного зондирования.

3. The studies of the new class of the radiophysical phenomena: microwave selfemission and backscattering of the sea surface, perturbed by gas bubble flow. (Grant #02-02- 16012, Russian Foundation for Fundamental Researches).

4. Microwave Backscatter from Mesoscale Breaking Waves on the Sea Surface: Experimental Investigation and Model Development, (CRDF RG1-2341-MO-02).

5. Generalized (three-scale) model of electromagnetic wave scattering at the sea surface: experimental basis, theory development, and model validation (Grant #01-02- 16174, Russian Foundation for Fundamental Researches).

6. The complex radio hydrophysical and acoustical study of water surface patterns perturbed by rain and wind (Grant #98-02-16218, Russian Foundation for Fundamental Researches).

7. The study of rainfall influence on selfemission and scattering of acoustic and electromagnetic waves by rough water surface (Grant #96-02-19822, Russian Foundation for Fundamental Researches).

8. Development of new methods and microwave remote instruments for determination of sea wave patterns. (Grant #94-02-03307, Russian Foundation for Fundamental Researches).
