Description of the file (with extension ".cng") which contains the magnetic conjugation between two satellites

Let consider as an example the file with name 'ta.cng'. This file contains the information about IB_TAIL and IB_AUR (AURORAL) magnetic conjugations as a function of the Universal time.
The predicted magnetic conjugations correspond to the less then 5 deg relative geocentric angular distance of the two satellites magnetic footprints.
The magnetic field model version (MOD IOPT) used during magnetic mapping is shown on the last column of the file.
For selected time intervals with 10-min step for both satellites the information as follows is shown (two lines for each time):

1.

UTYYMMDD

DATE: year (YYYY), month (MM), day (DD)

1.1

dcormlt = dlt (h)

the difference between two satellites corrected geomagnetic local times (see as well column 11)

2.

HHMMSS

Universal time: .hhmnss

2.1

dcorlat = dla (deg)

the difference between two satellites corrected geomagnetic latitude (see as well column 12)

3.

AnD (deg)

the footprints angular distance

4.1

Sat.1

The name of the first satellite

4.2

Sat.2

The name of the second satellite

5.

R (RE)

the satellite geocentric distance

6.

GLAT (deg)

the satellite geographical latitude

7.

GLON (deg)

the satellite geographical longitude

8.

FNGLAT (deg)

the geographical latitude of the footprint in the Northern Hemisphere

9.

FNGLON (deg)

the geographical longitude of the footprint in the Northern Hemisphere

10.

REG

the simulative geophysical region corresponding to the satellite position

11.

CMLT (h)

the corrected geomagnetic local time

12.

CORLAT (deg)

the corrected geomagnetic latitude

13.

ARCln (Re)

the length of the magnetic field line (between satellite and footprint)

14.

MOD IOPT

the magnetic field model version used during magnetic mapping
