CONFERENCE GOALS:

Representation of the last findings in the field of experimental and theoretical investigations of solar activity. The analysis of the maximum of the 23d cycle of solar activity and connection with  Space Weather.  

MAJOR TOPICS:

  1. Magnetic fields on the Sun.

  2. Oscillations and cyclical processes on the Sun.

  3. Solar corona study.

  4. Active processes on the Sun.

  5. Solar activity and disturbances of the solar wind and cosmic rays.

  6. Modern observational methods for solar investigations.

  7. Cooperative programs of solar activity study during 2005-2007. Participation in the program "International Heliophysical Year".
