Occultations of stars by NEAs in April 2016

The following list contains the circumstances of occultations of the Tycho-2
and UCAC2 catalog stars by the near-Earth asteroids for April 2016. The
left half of a page shows the three-line general information, namely: the date;
the number (if any) and name or provisional designation of the asteroid, its
apparent visual magnitude and approximate diameter in km, the drop in magnitude
and maximum duration in seconds; the catalog number of the star, its visual
magnitude and J2000.0 right ascension and declination. The right half of a page
describes the line of occultation in terms of longitude and latitude values for
a set of moments along with the values of azimuth and altitude of a phenomenon
at that place. All angular values are expressed in degrees. Only those
phenomena are selected that have the values of duration, drop in magnitude and
altitude larger than correspondingly 0.4 sec, 1.0 m and 20 degrees.
The elements of NEAs were used from the MPCORB catalog supported by
MPC (http://www.minorplanetcenter.org/iau/MPCORB.html) for March 19, 2016.
Of course, the NEA orbits are known with insufficient accuracy, so in
reality the described line indicates a wider region. But those who have
the facilities for high-speed photometry could try to observe these phenomena.
