1. DELTA CALL FOR APEX/LABOCA PROPOSALS FOR PERIOD 80
A Delta Call has been released for Proposals for observations to be conducted between September and December 2007 with the recently commissioned LABOCA bolometer array on the APEX submillimetre telescope. Deadline for proposal submission is 31 July 2007, 12:00 noon CEST

2. CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR SCIENCE DEMONSTRATION OBSERVATIONS WITH MAD
Following the encouraging results obtained during the testing runs of the Multi-Conjugate Adaptive-Optics Demonstrator (MAD) instrument, ESO has decided to make the instrument available to the community for two Science Demonstration runs of 7 nights each. Proposals for observations to be carried out within this framework are now invited. For more details, see: http://www.eso.org/sci/activities/vltsv/.
Please note that the proposal deadline is September 1, 2007.
3. SCISOFT VII NOW AVAILABLE
Scisoft is a collection of astronomical software, including most of the common tools used for processing optical, near-infrared and sub-millimetre data, which is widely installed within ESO. The latest version of the bundle, Scisoft VII for Linux Fedora Core 6 (and compatible systems), is now available for download. This includes many updates as well as some additional features, including Virtual Observatory software tools. More details and links are at
