The Commissioning Acceptance : formal meeting to check whether the objectives defined during the Commissioning Kick-off are fulfilled.

WHEN : After the new DFS release has been put into operation.

WHAT :

compare what was expected for the delivery and what is currently working on the mountain:

up-to-date list of features / functionalities / performance requirements which are NOT fulfilled.

define improvements for the next Commissioning.

WHY : Check that the formal commissioning protocol has been applied.

HOW : meeting with :

the DFS group Head
the DFS Department QA manager
all relevant project managers.
the SEG testers.
if possible, relevant Science Operation or Commissioning Group members.

If needed, specific commissioning acceptance meetings at DFS project level and SCCB meetings may be organized to prepare this Commissioning Acceptance meeting.

Before this meeting,
The SEG testers will prepare :
an up-to-date list of features / functionalities / performance requirements which are not fulfilled (because of bugs).

The QA manager will prepare :
an up-to-date count of critical, serious, and minor bugs/change requests.

The current Commissioning Plan will be updated after this meeting (usually by the QA manager).
It is strongly recommended that each participant prepares the Commissioning Acceptance meeting before going to it, in order to save time.

After this meeting,
The DFS project manager and the QA manager will prepare :
a Commissioning Report describing the main results of the DFS commissioning :

expected requirements which were fulfilled.
expected requirements which were NOT fulfilled and relevant action items.
improvements for the next Commissioning process.
