This
page provides documentation about the maintenance of the common score_overview pages
of the CAL monitor. |
|
The calChecker score overview pages are also called the Shiftleader's page and are linked to the CAL monitor, behind ALL INSTRUMENTS.
They provide a snapshot of the current calChecker scores (calscores). If existing, open analysis cases are flagged. The last refresh is displayed, to monitor the proper execution pattern.
There are two pages: one is labeled 'calChecker scores', the other 'technical'. This second page has, in addition to the content of the main page, also links to the WISQ execution time monitor which flags in red if the last execution time was longer than 10 minutes. It is called 'technical' since it is supposed to be mainly monitored by the QC scientist, while the main page is for inspection of both the QC scientists and the SciOps staff.
Maintenance
The pages need no maintenance, their content is static, with all dynamic parts embedded by virtual includes. These dynamic parts are maintained by the normal calChecker executions. These are, for the case of CRIRES (all other instruments have the same components):
The only maintenance needed is an update of the table if instruments need to added, or removed, or shifted. The master of that page is maintained by the QC group head. If necessary, this could be modified by downloading the all_calscore_overview.html page into another PC (with scp from qc@stargate1), updating the HTML, and uploading it (again with scp to qc@stargate1, cd qc/ALL/common). The same applies to all_calscore_overview_tech.html.
