2001-2002

Algorithmic and C programming (TD/TP resp. P. GANгARSKI) for undergraduate mathematics majors.

Science Teaching in Europe

2006-2009: Translation from English to French of astronomy related articles for Science in School, the only European journal aimed at secondary school science teachers across Europe, across the full spectrum of sciences. "Science in School aims to promote inspiring science teaching by encouraging communication between teachers, scientists, and everyone else involved in European science education. The contents include teaching materials, recent discoveries in science, education projects, interviews with young scientists and inspiring teachers, book reviews, and European events for teachers. Science in School is freely available. Online articles are published in many European languages and a print version is distributed in English."

Internet Resource

2007: Creator and maintainer of a web page about all major astronomical observatory sites on Earth. You can find out what the coordinates (latitude, longitude) and the altitude of a given astronomical observatory are. The application also provides links to maps and satellite images for all those observatories via Google Maps. Or you might simply want to take a tour around the world and zoom in on modern and historical observatories using Google Earth. For those interested in archaeoastronomy, there are also placemarks for ancient observatories!

Exercise Series

2002: Translation of the ESA/ESO Astronomy Exercise Series, for use in high school, from English to French. "The prime object of the series is to present various small projects that will transmit some of the excitement and satisfaction of scientific discovery to students. The first four exercises focus on measurements of distances in the Universe, one of the most basic problems in modern astrophysics."
