Placing boxes on plots in OYSTER is done as follows after
this mode has been initiated by a widget button: a new box is
started by clicking the left mouse button. This click anchors a corner
and moving the mouse (drag is not required) will change the size and
shape of the box. To fix size and shape, and change to a mode which
moves the entire box, click the middle button. This will enable you to
reposition the box more precisely if needed, even though the size
cannot be changed anymore.
At this point, i.e. when the box has been placed, further action depends
on the function of the button which was used to start the box placing mode.
