Korolev Rocket-Space Corporation Energia started the next stage of prelaunch processing for Mini-Research Module MRM1 ("Rassvet"), which is to be delivered in the Shuttle payload compartment to the International Space Station (ISS) in spring 2010 for its subsequent operation as part of the ISS Russian Segment.

At the House of Youth, Saint-Petersburg Senior research worker Dmitriy Sposob from RSC Energia became one of the 12 finalists at the contest for winning Zvorykin Prize, the highest award for innovations for gifted young Russian scientists.
At the solemn awards ceremony for the contest finalists, which was held on December 10th within the frame-work of the Second All-Russian Youth Innovation Convent at the House of Youth, Vasilyevsky Island, Saint-Petersburg, he and other finalists competing for this prestigious prize were congratulated by V.V. Putin, the Russian Prime Minister who wished them further successes in their creative activities.

ISS-22 crew The Russian Soyuz TMA-17 manned transport spacecraft has docked with the International Space Station (ISS).
After a two-day free flight in low Earth orbit, the spacecraft approached the ISS. The station rendezvous, its flyby, stationkeeping and berthing were performed in automatic mode.

At 13 hours: 38 minutes Moscow Time Launch Vehicle (LV) Proton-M with Upper Stage (US) DM and three spacecraft (SC) GLONASS-M was launched from Cosmodrome Baikonur.
The launch objective is to augment Russian constellation of global navigation satellite system GLONASS by the addition of new SC.

Soyuz TMA-17 transport manned vehicle fuelled with propellant components and compressed gases was delivered to the Spacecraft Assembly and Testing Facility for final processing operations. Soyuz TMA-17 transport manned vehicle was docked with the transfer compartment.

Training sessions under the crew training program for the ISS expeditions S.P. Korolev Rocket-Space Corporation Energia hosted training sessions under the crew training program for the International Space Station expeditions.

Landing of manned space vehicle Soyuz TMA-15 The Soyuz TMA-15 descent module (DM) returned to ground at 10:15 Moscow time. All DM reentry, search and landing operations were performed nominally.
Russian cosmonaut R. Romanenko (Soyuz TMA-15 crew commander), ESA astronaut, citizen of Belgium F. de Winne and astronaut of Canadian Space Agency R. Thirsk (both are flight engineers of Souyz TMA-15 vehicle) completed their flight to the International Space Station (ISS) under the ISS Expedition 20/21 Program.

Upper Stage DM-SLB delivered Spacecraft (SC) Intelsat 15 to target geosynchronous transfer orbit. SC mass is about 2.5 tons.
Launch was performed under the Land Launch Program with launch vehicle Zenit-2SB used (launch took place of December 1st at 00 hours 00 minutes Moscow Time).
