On the eve of the coming 2010 New Year, Moscow Mission Control Center (MCC-M) held the televised communication session with the International Space Station Prime Crew members working in orbit.

The communication session was participated by the heads of the RF Federal Space Agency, State Committee and Technical Management on flight tests of the manned space complexes, representatives of NASA's office in Moscow, All-Russian Grandfarther Frost, the representatives of Vologda Region, leading enterprises of Russian space industry, children-contestants for the best drawing-emblem for the crew of the manned space vehicle Soyuz TMA-18, whose launch is scheduled for April 2010.

Roscosmos Head A.N. Perminov and the President of RSC Energia after S.P. Korolev, General Designer V.A. Lopota congratulated the ISS crew, M. Suraev, O. Kotov (Russia), J. Williams and T. Creamer (USA), S. Nogushi (Japan) on the coming New Year, wished good health and success in implementing the challenging and tight Mission Program.

All-Russian Grandfarther Frost from MCC-M welcomed the ISS cosmonauts and astronauts, employees of rocket-space industry, wished everybody health, happiness and new space achievements.

Also actor M. Grushevskiy took part in the congratulations.

At the press conference held after the communication session, Roscosmos Head A.N. Perminov answered the journalists' questions, congratulated the managers and teams of Russian and foreign enterprises and agencies operating in the field of cosmonautics on the coming New Year and wished everybody health, happiness and new successes in creative activity in the year 2010. He introduced to the public Russian cosmonauts, the crew members of the Soyuz TMA-18 space vehicle, A. Skvortsov and M. Korniyenko, who informed those present about the results of the contest for the best drawing-emblem for their crew.
