The training sessions under the training program for the International Space Station (ISS) Expedition 20 crew occurred at S.P. Korolev Rocket & Space Corporation Energia.
The Corporation specialists acquainted Canadian astronauts Robert Brent Thirsk (the Soyuz TMA-15 and ISS-20/21 flight engineer) and his backup Chris Austin Hadfield (the Soyuz TMA-15 and ISS-20 flight engineer, ISS-21 commander) with photo, video equipment and radio amateur communication available onboard the ISS Russian Segment and also with features of operations with tools and devices envisaged for the Segment service systems maintenance and repair. Special attention was paid to operations with the docking assemblies accessories; with regard to them practical sessions with each astronaut individually were held on the Docking stand.
