After being launched from Cosmodrome Baikonur on September 8, 2005, Russian cargo
transport vehicle Progress M-54 has been docked with the International Space
Station (ISS) upon completion of the earth-orbiting mission program.
The cargo vehicle rendezvous with the ISS Orbital Complex, its fly-around, station
keeping relative to the Complex and berthing were carried out in an automated
node. The cargo vehicle approached a clear axial docking port of the Russian
Service Module Zvezda. At 18 hours 42 minutes 04 seconds Moscow Time the cargo
vehicle has come in contact with this port of the station. The cargo vehicle
berthing and docking were conducted within a visibility zone of the Russian ground
command and measuring stations.

08.09.2005 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
At 17:07:54 Moscow Time the Soyuz-U/Progress M-54 Rocket and Space Complex was
launched from Baikonur cosmodrome.
The launch objective is to deliver necessary cargoes to the International Space
Station (ISS) to continue operation of the Orbital Complex and create habitation
and working conditions for the crew under the ISS Mission Program and the Russian
Side's commitments under the ISS Project.

At 5:00 a.m. Moscow Time, the transporter with the Soyuz-U
launch vehicle and the Progress M-54 spacecraft left the
Assembly and Testing Facility and arrived to the launch
pad for the final pre-launch processing. The Soyuz-U - Progress
M-54 system was erected on the launcher. First launch day
activities began.

Management was held where a decision was made to roll out
the launch vehicle carrying Progress M-54 to the launch
pad.
