The Progress M1-5 transport cargo vehicle launched on 24
January 2001 from Baikonur Cosmodrome following the completion
of a three-day autonomous flight in a near-earth orbit to
the MIR Orbital Complex, docked to it on the Kvant module
side.
Following the docking complete a press-conference for journalists
took place in MCC.

for launch to the Mir space station.
At 14:45 Moscow time Technical Management had a meeting
at which the results of the first launch day were summed
up.

A meeting of the Technical Management on the Progress M1-5
/ Soyuz-U Rocket and Space Complex was held.
In connection with the analysis of problems on the Mir orbital
station the Complex is in the three-day readiness for the
launch.

At 5 hours Moscow time the Soyuz-U/Progress M1-5 Rocket-Space
Complex was rolled out from Assembly and Test Building for
launch vehicles, delivered to the launching area and erected
on the launch pad.

The Intergovernmental Committee and Technical Management
had a meeting at which a decision was made to roll out the
