Echostar-10 Launch
The Echostar-10 mission preparation began in December 2005 upon the successful completion of activities for the Inmarsat-4 mission.
Zenit-2S LV ? SL15 and Block DM-SL ?14L were used to launch the Echostar-10 SC.
CHRONOLOGY OF ACTIVITIES
December 15, 2005 - January 23, 2006 |
Activities at the Home Port:
- Tests of Zenit-2S LV ? SL15;
- Operations for Zenit-2S LV ? SL21 (donor);
- Tests of Block DM-SL ?14L;
- Tests of Block DM-SL ?22L;
- ILV assembly and testing;
- Operations for the Rocket Segment integrated systems and processing equipment.

ACS and LP passage to the launch area. Activities in the sea passage phase:
- Integrated rehearsal ?2 on ACS involving all Sea Launch Segments and structures;
- Final integrated rehearsal ?3 on ACS involving all Sea Launch Segments and structures, SC Customer and launch Customer with support of MCC (Korolev), Center (Seattle) and using TDRSS links.

- Making the Rocket Segment systems ready for activities in the launch area.

- ILV preparation for roll-out to the launch pad;
- ILV roll-out and installation on the launch pad;
- ILV and Critical Launch Readiness Checklist electrical tests, results analysis.

- Rocket Segment systems check and preparation for ILV prelaunch processing and launch;
- ILV prelaunch processing and launch.

The launch was performed from the Odissei launch platform at 02 hr. 35 min Moscow time (February 15, 2006 at 15 hr. 35 min Pacific standard time). The Echostar-10 spacecraft has been injected into the calculated orbit.
