State Committee accepted a decision on the Zenit-3SLB ILV roll-out to LC for ILV further processing for the Amos-3 SC launch planned for April 24, 2008. |
April 21, 2008 |
1-st launch day. ILV transportation to the Launch Complex ILV installation on LD. Start of ILV nominal prelaunch processing. |
April 22, 2008 |
2-nd launch day. Critical launch readiness checklist (CLRC). |
April 23-24, 2008 |
3-rd launch day. CLRC mode analysis. Meeting of the State Committee (launch readiness review with Customer participation). LC preparation for prelaunch processing (PLP) mode.
On April 24, 2008 at 04:00 Moscow time (00:00 UTC) PLP mode began. 2 minutes before the "LAUNCH" command because of the failure of the transporter-erector hydraulic support retraction operation the launch complex was shifted to the "TIMELINE CANCELLATION" mode. Upon the propellant components and the compressed gases venting ILV was transfered to a horizontal position. At the meeting of the State Committee a decision on the launch date postponement to April 28, 2008 was adopted. |

April 28, 2008 |
At 04:00, Moscow time (00:00 UTC) PLP mode began. At 09:00 Moscow time (05:00 UTC) the first launch under the Land Launch program was performed. |
