Contract activities on ISS Russian Segment

Experiment Altcriss

Objective:

Taking measuremens of radiation field onboard the ISS.

Tasks:

• Monitoting of radiological situation on low near-earth orbit.
• Determining efficiency of different protective materials in space.

Science Hardware Used:

• Spectrometer AST ("Alteino") with cables;
• Dosimeter pouches.

Consumables:

• Memory cards PCMCIA 512 МВ and CF 512 МВ;
• Cover for return of dosimeter and memory cards pouches;
• ALC registration table.

Flight Equipment Used:

• Digital camera Nikon D1X.

Experiment Results:

Returned to Earth pouches with dosimeters and memory cards containing recorded spectrometer measurements, as well as the photographs of dosimenters taken at the exposure sites.
