Objective:

Impact of space flight factors on mutation process, generic exchange and control of antibiotics formation at microorganism level.

Used science hardware:

Complex "Mutatsia" incorporating
• apparatus "Mutatsia-GO";
• apparatus "Mutatsia-OK".

Description of the experiment:

Shielded from electromagnetic fields (EMF), biosamples exposed to pressurized compartment interior and to the Module external surface. Recording sample exposure time, temperature, ultra-violet radiation, as well as changes (if possible) in microgravity, magnetic field and long-range radiation within the Module.

Experiment results:

Obtaining of antibiotic superproducers, a set of microorganism mutants, new recombinant strains data for bioindication of near-earth space and determining dynamics of radiation effects, data on space factors impact on the processes of primary and secondary metabolism, viability of microorganisms.
