Biotest Experiment

Objective:

Systematic and integrated biochemical examination of the human organism state in zero-gravity conditions to study metabolism adaptation to long-duration space flight conditions.

Tasks:

Take blood tests for:
• Studying specific features of biochemical control of organism gomeostasis on adaptation to zero-g conditions;
• Investigation of the function of hormonal mechanisms in a change of water-salt, lipid and protein metabolism;
• Selection of informative biochemical indices to evaluate the cosmonauts' physical state.
